For students in the special education classes, ranging from first to sixth grade, I began by introducing what Mizuhiki is. Students then learned how to make the basic Awaji <\/em>knot, shaping it into a snake inspired by this year\u2019s zodiac animal. Older students also took on the challenge of creating the more intricate Ume <\/em>knot. The results were outstanding, with many unique and creative pieces brought to life.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
