In this mizuhiki Japanese art craft workshop, you will learn how to create intricate beautiful designs using colored cords. You will be guided through the process of making your mizuhiki creation, whether it be a traditional decoration or a unique modern design.

Don’t worry if you’re new to mizuhiki – workshops are designed from the beginners’ experience and I will make sure you feel comfortable and confident throughout the class.

During the class, you will learn about mizuhiki in Japanese culture and have the opportunity to express your creativity. Working with colorful cords and creating complex patterns may seem daunting at first, but you’ll be surprised by how meditative and rewarding the experience can be.

By the end of the workshop, you will have a beautiful mizuhiki creation to take home, a tangible reminder of the new skill you’ve learned and the wonderful experience you’ve had.
